Books and Authors

Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman

This book changed my life and was the inspiration behind me writing Wake Up! The Enlightenment of an American Misfit and Outlaw!

I got to meet Dan Millman when he was in Hawaii for a writer’s conference. For a big mouth like me, I had trouble finding words to express my gratitude to this Peaceful Warrior.

Illusions and Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach

Richard Bach is an amazing author and one of my favorites. His books are fun, poignant and thought-provoking. Two of my favorites are Illusions and Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand

Atlas Shrugged was a pivotal book in my life as it showcased the power of the human spirit. Some people have questioned how this book, with its opposition to spirituality, fits into my “favorite” book list. I found Atlas Shrugged (as well as Ayn’s other books) very spiritual, whether or not that was Ayn Rand’s intention. Simply put, my philosophy can be found by mixing Atlas Shrugged, Way of the Peaceful Warrior and the following book…

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

If you want to increase your wealth, start your dream business, improve your life or learn more about how Universal Laws work – READ THIS BOOK! It’s a life-changer!!!

The Power of Now and A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

The Power of Now is an amazingly powerful book about BEing! It’s one of those books you’ll read over and over again. I love it!
